Having 3 outdoor and 15 indoor thermal pools, Széchenyi is one of the greatest baths of Europe. It was built in 1881 in classicist and neo-renaissance style and became definitely the nicest spa of Budapest. Nowadays it has many extra services (massage, gym) and modern pools. The bath offers the most hot thermal water of Europe, that is 77 degrees. In the night the buildings are lit and the ambiance is really unique. In the summer there are so-called tune-spa music events organised here – definitely a good program for young people.
