Museum of Applied Arts

It was the third museum of this kind built in Europe (London and Vienna also had applied arts museums). It is an Art Nouveau building roofed in Zsolnay ceramic tiles giving the building an especially unique look.

The museum collects traditional and contemporary pieces of art from Hungary and the rest of the world. There are regular temporary exhibions hold in the museum, but its major atrium also acts as an event space for cultural programs.
