Hungary’s most important historical music festival will take us back to the distant past. Grandiose concerts, outstanding early music ensembles, Bach, Leclair and Haydn works will be featured during the 10-day festival starting on March 1st.  Among others, the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin will take their programme of Bach cantatas and motets to the stage. The La Chapelle Rhénan, an early music orchestra established in Strasbourg, will play the David psalms of Heinrich Schütz, one of the greatest composers of the pre-Bach period.
